Curious Ape 🦧

Growing up, i was always been a curious kid some might think this as a good thing but it is a double edge sword and comes with its own set of drawbacks. I’ve been in tech space for 2-3 years now and still i don’t have a single domain of mastery.

The reason for this is my insatiable curiosity. Whenever something new comes up, I get curious and start learning about it, often putting aside whatever I was doing before. This makes me want to learn everything, which is not logically possible

As i come closer to the end of my engineering degree, I’m in a situation where i’d to choose a single craft to put my soul into, a craft which i would like to level up in and for me it is “Machine learning”. This choice may not be the best but that’s the thing you never know what will work and what not, just trust the process enjoy the journey and you’ll probably end up in a better place than what you currently are

To conclude, I’d say being curious and exploring different domains is not a bad thing, but sticking to one thing and improving it also matters a lot. One must find a balance between both. If you’re in a situation like I was before, hopping between different domains without getting better at anything, my advice would be to choose something and stick to it for a while rather than riding the trend train.
